The following terms apply to fracgo.com (the "Site"). Acceptance is implied by use, so if they are not acceptable to you, please stop using the Site.

FracGo is a fraction and decimal converter: it converts fractions to decimals and decimals back to fractions, simplifying the result and showing the greatest-common-divisor steps. In practice, it expands a fraction to a division in one direction and, in the other, finds the repeating part of the decimal and reduces the resulting fraction by the greatest common divisor — which is why 0.375 comes back as exactly 3/8 rather than a rounded approximation. This page should be read with that tool in mind, because the limits described apply to what it computes.

In day-to-day use the tool works only from the fraction or decimal you enter, and it is usually opened for things like turning a measurement into a fraction for a drawing. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.

What this Site does

FracGo offers a fraction and decimal converter, free to use, together with supporting explanations. Every result is an estimate computed from what you supply, following the method set out on the page itself. Results are offered for general information and convenience, and anything that matters should be verified independently.

No duty of care created

Nothing on the Site creates a professional relationship of any kind. You are responsible for how you use any result.

Intellectual property

The design, wording and code are ours or used under license unless credited otherwise. Linking is encouraged; reproducing large sections needs written permission.

Third-party content and advertising

The Site is supported by advertising and may link to external resources. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it. Advertising never influences a result.

Changes and downtime

The Site is provided "as is". We may change, suspend or remove any tool or page at any time and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for consequential or indirect damages, nor for choices made on the strength of an output here.

Governing law

The terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the Site operator is established, conflict-of-law rules aside.

Verifying a result

These are convenience tools. A result is a reasonable starting point rather than a final answer, and should be checked by other means when anything important depends on it.

Errors and completeness

We aim for correctness and document the method behind the tool. We do not warrant that every result is free of error, or that the content is complete or current. Where a method carries a recognized margin of error, the result should be read as an estimate.

How you may use the Site

The Site is available for your own personal or business use. Do not attack, overload, or scrape it to the point of harming other users, do not pass it off as your own work, and do not use it for anything illegal.
