FracGo is a fraction and decimal converter: it converts fractions to decimals and decimals back to fractions, simplifying the result and showing the greatest-common-divisor steps. In practice, it expands a fraction to a division in one direction and, in the other, finds the repeating part of the decimal and reduces the resulting fraction by the greatest common divisor — which is why 0.375 comes back as exactly 3/8 rather than a rounded approximation. This page should be read with that tool in mind, because the limits described apply to what it computes.

In day-to-day use the tool works only from the fraction or decimal you enter, and it is usually opened for things like turning a measurement into a fraction for a drawing. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.

General information only

The content on fracgo.com exists to inform and educate. Every result is an estimate derived from your input, not a measurement or a piece of professional advice — and FracGo makes no claim beyond that.

A quick answer, not a final one

FracGo is a convenience tool that returns a fast, general answer. Where the outcome carries weight — a figure you will build from, submit or pay — confirm it by other means first.

Links to third-party sites

Any link to another site is provided for convenience. That content is outside our control and we are not answerable for it.

Adverts and sponsorship

Advertising keeps the Site free. Advertisers have no influence over any result, and the presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement.

No warranty

The assumption that matters most for FracGo is that your input matches the model. It expands a fraction to a division in one direction and, in the other, finds the repeating part of the decimal and reduces the resulting fraction by the greatest common divisor — which is why 0.375 comes back as exactly 3/8 rather than a rounded approximation. When it does not — or when rounding, unit handling or browser behavior intervenes — no warranty attaches to the Site, careful as we are with the method.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for checking that a result suits your situation before acting on it. If something looks wrong, tell us through the contact page — we would rather fix it than be right.
