Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This is the privacy notice for fracgo.com, operated by FracGo ("we", "us"). It covers the information we deal with and the options open to you. Briefly: the fraction or decimal you enter is computed locally and never leaves your machine.
Which tool this covers
FracGo is a fraction and decimal converter: it converts fractions to decimals and decimals back to fractions, simplifying the result and showing the greatest-common-divisor steps. In practice, it expands a fraction to a division in one direction and, in the other, finds the repeating part of the decimal and reduces the resulting fraction by the greatest common divisor — which is why 0.375 comes back as exactly 3/8 rather than a rounded approximation. This page should be read with that tool in mind, because the limits described apply to what it computes.
In day-to-day use the tool works only from the fraction or decimal you enter, and it is usually opened for things like turning a measurement into a fraction for a drawing. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.
Data you give the tool
On fracgo.com the computation never leaves the browser. FracGo reads your input in the page itself, produces the result there, and sends nothing over the network — which is also why the tool goes on working if you disconnect after loading it.
Cookies, ads and advertising partners
Two things can set cookies on fracgo.com: our own consent flag, which remembers your answer to the banner, and the third-party advertising network, which may use them for interest-based ads. Refuse them all and the tool still behaves exactly as before.
How we measure usage
Analytics on fracgo.com are limited to counting: visits, a rough location and which tools are opened. The figures are aggregated rather than tied to a person, and none of them carries what you typed.
Where your input goes (nowhere)
The values you enter are read by the page itself and nowhere else. No copy is kept after you navigate away, since none was ever made.
Security and data retention
FracGo keeps nothing that identifies you and nothing you calculated. The only security surface that matters is the site's own delivery, which is encrypted throughout and patched when it needs to be.
Children
The site is not designed for, or marketed to, children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your privacy rights
You may have statutory rights over personal data — to access, amend, erase or object to its processing, depending on your jurisdiction. You can exercise them by writing to us; in most cases there will be no stored data to act on.
Updates to this page
The policy is kept current with the site. When something material changes, the date at the top is updated so the revision is visible.
What is collected automatically
The hosting layer sees what any web server sees — client address, requested path, user agent, time — and that is the limit of it. None of those records contains the values you type into the fraction and decimal converter, because those never reach the server.
Getting in touch about privacy
To ask about privacy, or to exercise a right, the contact page is the way to get through.
